This compact insert is perfect for creating a custom-built decorative vent hood in a space with a narrow depth. This hood uses the K Series blower system， which is perfect for light to moderate cooking. The blower system utilizes a filter-less design， which does not obstruct the air flow like other systems， and features the exclusive Active Canopy technology， which captures cooking vapors from all areas of the canopy. Because of this， you do not need as high of a CFM to achieve the same results as other blower systems， making this 250 CFM hood equivalent to other 375 CFM hoods. This vent hood is equipped with the SensaSource heat sensor， which automatically adjusts the speed of the blower according to the temperature. The 50 watt halogen lights eliminate shadows while cooking and also feature a dual switch for dimming to 25 watts. This compact under cabinet range hood can be vented from the top or the back， making installation easy.
